SABMiller Plc -- Moody's: ABI's higher cash offer for SABMiller is credit negative but no rating or outlook change
New York, July 26, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service said today that the announcement that Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (ABI, A3 Stable) has increased its cash offer for SABMiller plc (SABMiller, A3 RUR) is a credit negative. However the resulting increase in debt and leverage is not sufficient to warrant any change in the company's A3 rating or stable outlook.
