New York, January 27, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned a (P)Baa3 rating to the senior unsecured shelf of Retail Properties of America, Inc. (NYSE: RPAI). The rating outlook is stable. This is the first rating assigned to RPAI by the rating agency.
