Petrobras Global Finance B.V. -- Moody's assigns Ba2 rating to Petrobras Global Finance's proposed notes

New York, June 01, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned a Ba2 rating to Petrobras Global Finance B.V.'s proposed global notes, which will be unconditionally guaranteed by Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras). The Ba2 rating on the proposed notes is based on the rating of Petrobras (Ba2 stable). The proposed notes are senior unsecured and pari passu with Petrobras Global Finance B.V. and Petrobras' other senior foreign currency debt. Proceeds from the proposed notes issuance will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt refinancing and capital investitures. The outlook on the rating is stable.
