Namibia, Government of -- Moody's: Namibia's Baa3 rating and stable outlook supported by robust growth prospects
New York, January 30, 2014 -- In a report published today, Moody's Investors Service says that Namibia's Baa3 rating and stable outlook are supported by the economy's robust growth prospects, thanks to ongoing development of the country's abundant natural resources. That being said, socio-economic challenges constrain the rating at Baa level, including wide income disparities and high levels of poverty, HIV prevalence and unemployment.
