Moody's: US durable goods companies sales will rise as release of pent-up demand accelerates and economy improves

New York, December 10, 2014 -- Pent-up demand for durable goods such as appliances is starting to be released, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report. Since the recession US consumers have put off buying these goods, but a slowly improving economy is now leading them to make new purchases.
