Moody's updates outlook for US packaged foods to positive
New York, July 16, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has revised its outlook for the US packaged-foods industry to positive from stable. Moody's expects industry-wide sales to increase 3% to 4% over the next 12 to 18 months and operating-income to increase 6% to 8%. In its previous forecast, Moody's had projected operating growth of 4% to 6%.
