Moody's: SQ assessments of Ocwen Loan Servicing and Ditech Financial unaffected by recent losses

New York, April 07, 2016 -- The servicing assessments of Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC and Ditech Financial, LLC, two of the largest US non-bank servicers of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) loans, have not changed as a result of the companies' recent losses, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report. Despite the financial hurdles faced by both companies, their servicing performance metrics are above average in most categories, and their overall servicer quality, or SQ, assessments are average. Moody's continues to assess both servicers as below average in terms of servicing stability.
