New York, October 14, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has reviewed the Bonds listed below due to the reported interest payment delay. This error was a one-time incident and does not indicate impairment of the Bank of China Limited's (the Bank) ability, as the provider of the letter of credit supporting such Bonds, to pay debt service on the Bonds in the future. Therefore, we have concluded that it has no impact on the existing ratings of the Bonds.
