Moody's: McCormick Offer For Premier Likely Credit Negative
New York, March 31, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service commented that McCormick & Company'sMarch 30, 2016 conditional offer to acquire UK-based Premier Foods plc (B2/Negative) would likely be credit negative for McCormick. Moody's noted that it is far from certain whether any transaction will ultimately be consummated, and that McCormick has not publically disclosed its intentions regarding financing if its bid is ultimately successful.
