Moody's: Losses on GSE credit-risk transfer RMBS from TRID violations likely to be small; number of violations will initially be high
New York, April 08, 2016 -- Credit-risk transfer securitizations issued by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are likely to incur only small losses related to violations of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau'sTILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure, or TRID, rule, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report. At least initially, however, the frequency of violations will be high.
