New York, April 07, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned an A3 rating with a stable outlook to MetLife, Inc.'s (MetLife; NYSE:MET, senior debt at A3; stable outlook) issuance of approximately $1 billion 10-year fixed rate senior unsecured notes. The notes are a drawdown from a shelf registration filed in November 2013.
