New York, August 18, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service today assigned a provisional (P)Baa2 rating to the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority's (KEDFA or Conduit Issuer) Senior Revenue Bonds (Next Generation Kentucky Information Highway Project), consisting $230 million of Tax-Exempt Senior Revenue Bonds (Next Generation Kentucky Information Highway Project), Series 2015A and $57 million of Taxable Senior Revenue Bonds (Next Generation Kentucky Information Highway Project), Series 2015B. The Series 2015B bonds will be privately placed and divided into a $19 million Series 2015B-1 that is issued and purchased at financial close and a $38 million Series 2015B-2 that will be issued on a deferred basis and purchased by Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life, A2, stable) under a forward bond purchase agreement. The rating outlook is stable. The tax-exempt Subordinate Revenue Bonds (Next Generation Kentucky Information Highway Project), Series 2015C are not rated.
