Genworth Financial Mortgage Indemnity Ltd -- Moody's affirms ratings of Genworth Australia following IPO announcement
Sydney, April 08, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has today affirmed the insurance financial strength ratings of Genworth Financial Mortgage Insurance Pty Limited (Genworth Australia, IFSR A3 stable) and Genworth Financial Mortgage Indemnity Limited (Genworth Indemnity, IFSR A3 stable). The rating affirmation follows the announcement by Genworth Financial Inc. (Genworth) that it has commenced certain pre-marketing activities ahead of the planned initial public offering (IPO) of up to 40% its Australian mortgage insurance business.
