London, 07 July 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has today affirmed the Baa3 long-term issuer rating assigned to Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentacion, S.A.'s (DIA) following the company's announcement that it has signed a put option and exclusivity agreement regarding the entire share capital of its French business with Carrefour S.A. ((P)Baa2 positive) and that it has entered into a sale and purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100% stake in Spanish supermarkets chain El Arbol.
