London, 17 February 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has today confirmed Deutsche Wohnen A.G. (Deutsche Wohnen)'s A3 long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings following the unsuccessful completion of Vonovia SE's (Vonovia, unrated) takeover offer for Deutsche Wohnen. This completes a review for downgrade initiated on October 23, 2015 when Vonovia announced its offer to take over Deutsche Wohnen, itself announced on 14 October 2015.The outlook on Deutsche Wohnen's ratings is stable.
