Braskem SA -- Moody's comments that Braskem's amendment of the naphtha supply contract with Petrobras is credit negative, but no impact on ratings

New York, September 02, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service comments that Braskem SA's announcement of the new amendment of the naphtha-supply contract with Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. is credit negative, but does not impact the company's Baa3 ratings. In Moody's view, the amendment maintains the uncertainties regarding the long-term agreement for naphtha supply to Braskem in the domestic market.
