New York, July 22, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Aa3 long term local currency senior debt rating to Banco Santander Chile's proposed issuance of senior notes in two series (Serie S-C and Serie S-D) amounting to CLP 200 billion each. These two issuances will be drawn from the bank's UF 35 million S series shelf registration (around CLP 875 billion as of July 2015). Serie S-C carries a maturity of 10 years, whilst Serie S-D matures in 5 years. Both ratings have stable outlooks, in line with the bank's other senior debt ratings.
