Avnet, Inc. -- Moody's rates Avnet's new senior notes Baa3; outlook stable
New York, March 21, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned a Baa3 rating to Avnet, Inc.'s ("Avnet") proposed $500 million senior unsecured 10-year notes offering. The stated use of proceeds will be for general corporate purposes, including a reduction in short-term debt. The rating outlook is stable.
