New York, June 17, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned an A2 rating to Archer-Daniels-Midland Company's (ADM) issuance of EUR1.1 billion of notes. The issuance will consist of two tranches of debt, a floating and a fixed rate, due in 2019 and 2023. The amounts issued under each tranche will differ depending on market conditions. The debentures will be used to fund the tender offer that was announced by ADM on June 1, 2015. While the tender period does not close until June 30, 2015, it is unlikely that a significant amount of additional debt will be tendered. The outlook is stable.
