Alliance One International, Inc. -- Moody's Affirms Alliance One's Ratings; Outlook Revised to Positive

New York, June 03, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service today affirmed Alliance One International, Inc.'s (Alliance One) Caa2 Corporate Family Rating and revised the rating outlook to positive from negative. The positive outlook reflects Moody's expectation that the company will refinance its revolving credit facility, leverage will decline slowly from its very high level, and that liquidity will modestly improve. Moody's believes the company has a better chance of successfully refinancing its revolving credit facility now that it has resolved accounting discrepancies related to is Kenyan subsidiary, restated past financial statements, and filed past due financial statements.
