Aegis Toxicology Sciences Corporation -- Moody's assigns B2 CFR to Aegis; first lien credit facility rated B1; second lien rated Caa1; outlook is stable

New York, February 04, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned a B2 Corporate Family Rating and B2-PD Probability of Default Rating to Aegis Toxicology Sciences Corporation (Aegis). This is the first time Moody's has assigned ratings to Aegis. Moody's also assigned a B1 (LGD 3, 33%) and a Caa1 (LGD 5, 87%) rating to the company's proposed first and second lien senior secured credit facilities, respectively. The outlook for the rating is stable. Moody's understands that the proceeds of the proposed facilities will be used along with contributed equity to fund the acquisition of the company by ABRY Partners.
