YY Inc. Q2 Net Income Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - YY Inc. (YY) reported that its second quarter net income attributable to company increased by 31.0% to RMB 290.7 million from RMB 221.9 million, last year. Net income per ADS was RMB 5.10 compared to RMB 3.71.

Non-GAAP net income attributable to YY increased by 17.0% to RMB 302.3 million from RMB 258.4 million. Non-GAAP net income per ADS was RMB 5.29 compared to RMB 4.32.

Net revenues were RMB 1.36 billion compared to RMB 841.0 million, prior year. Net revenues increased by 61.4%, underpinned by an increase in IVAS revenues.

IVAS revenues, which mainly consisted of revenues from online music and entertainment, online games, online dating, Huya broadcasting and YY's membership program, increased by 62.4% to RMB 1.30 billion. The company said the overall increase primarily reflected an increase in the number of paying users.
