YuMe Q2 Net Loss Widens; Cuts FY14 Revenue Outlook

(RTTNews) - YuMe, Inc. (YUME) reported a net loss for the second quarter of $2.6 million or $0.08 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.1 million or $0.23 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Revenue for the second quarter rose 18% to $40.39 million from $34.32 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.11 per share on revenue of $41.50 million for the second quarter.

Looking forward, the company forecasts third quarter revenue of $43 million to $45 million. For the full year 2014, the company now forecasts revenue of $180 million to $190 million, compared to its prior forecast of $190 million to $200 million. Analysts currently expect the company to post revenue of $44.24 million for the third quarter and $193.78 million for the full year 2014.
