YIT OYJ: Change to YIT Corporation's Management Board - Esa Neuvonen Nominated as YIT's CFO

YIT Corporation's Board of Directors has today nominated M.Sc. Econ. Esa Neuvonen (49), as YIT Corporation's new Chief Financial Officer and member of the management board. He reports to the President and CEO Kari Kauniskangas. Mr. Neuvonen will start in his new position by the end of the year. Esa Neuvonen is currently the CFO at Sato Corporation. Before joining Sato he worked for TeliaSonera in several positions, including Sonera's CFO.

"Esa Neuvonen is an experienced CFO who also has knowledge of the real estate business. His expertise combines all those capabilities that we need in our company’s financial operations over a longer time span," says Kari Kauniskangas.

The current CFO Timo Lehtinen leaves the company. "Timo Lehtinen has had a significant role at YIT Corporation concerning the demerger, the balance sheet consolidation, and recent financial arrangements. Together, we have agreed that at the beginning of a new three-year strategy period it is an opportune moment for a change of CFO. I want to thank Timo for his contribution to the company," adds Kari Kauniskangas.

Ari Ladvelin, Director, Internal audit, will act as YIT's interim CFO until Esa Neuvonen takes up his position at YIT.
