Yingli Green Energy Q3 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Chinese solar energy company Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (YGE) Tuesday reported narrower loss for third quarter.

Net loss reduced to RMB 122.8 million or $20.0 million, from RMB 235.6 million last year. Loss per ADS was RMB 0.68 or $0.11, compared with RMB 1.50 in the third quarter of 2013.

Excluding certain items, loss per ADS for the quarter totaled RMB 0.62, or $0.10 versus RMB 1.45 a year ago.

Total revenues were down to RMB 3.385 billion or $551.5 million, from RMB 3.649 billion last year.

The group said it expects to start construction of 50 to 60 MW of downstream projects in the fourth quarter, and also to develop nearly 400 MW of downstream projects by the end of 2014. For fiscal 2014, the company now sees PV module shipments in a range of 3.30GW - 3.35GW .
