Yahoo! Introduces New Yahoo Messenger On Mobile, Web, MailBusiness

(RTTNews) - Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) Thursday introduced a brand new Yahoo Messenger for mobile, the Web and Yahoo Mail on the desktop. With the new messenger, it will be easy to share, unsend or like messages, photos and animated GIFs. It can understand the relationship between contacts and hence adding people to group conversations is fast and simple.

Jeff Bonforte, senior vice president of communication products and engineering at Yahoo said, "The messaging space has grown dramatically, yet people ultimately want a fast and easy way to communicate with each other. The new Yahoo Messenger was designed first and foremost to meet those needs. This is just the beginning of what's to come."

Using a simple upload tool and powered by Flickr's photo platform, users can instantly send hundreds of photos. Moreover, it can be viewed in the context of the conversation, without interrupting the flow of the conversation.

By tapping on the "unsend" option, a message, photo or GIF can be removed from everyone's viewing.Yahoo said the unsend option would help avoid potential embarrassment and sender's remorse!
