Xplore Technologies Slips To Loss In FY14 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Xplore Technologies Corp. (XPLR), a developer of mobile wireless tablet PC computing systems, Wednesday reported fiscal 2014 net loss of $1.76 million, compared to a net income of $306 thousand in the prior year.

The company noted that the fluctuation was mainly attributable to planned increases in operating expenses associated with its strategy to broaden addressable markets and awareness.

For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2014, revenues grew 17 percent to $35.59 million from $30.49 million a year ago.

Xplore's operating expenses for the fiscal year were $15.14 million, significantly up from $9.96 million last year.
