XL Group plc Earnings Rise 73% In Q3

(RTTNews) - XL Group plc (XL) revealed a profit for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $122.45 million, or $0.44 per share. This was up from $70.79 million, or $0.23 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.8% to $2.43 billion. This was up from $2.41 billion last year.
