Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB: Wihlborgs Expands in Denmark

Wihlborgs (STO:WIHL) is strengthening its Copenhagen presence through the acquisition of 13 properties comprising a total of 100,000 m2. The seller is the Danish pension company Unipension.

The property portfolio consists of 12 office properties and one warehouse facility. Approximately half of the portfolio is located in Herlev/Ballerup and Høje-Taastrup where Wihlborgs already operates. The remaining properties are located in other sub-areas in the north and south of Copenhagen. The purchase price totals DKK 700 million and the yield is estimated at 7 percent. Possession will be taken on 1 November 2016.

Following the acquisition, Wihlborgs now owns and manages about 400,000 m2in the Copenhagen area, with a market value of SEK 4 billion.
