Wesco International Inc Announces 5% Rise In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Wesco International Inc (WCC) reported a profit for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $53.7 million, or $1.12 per share. This was up from $51.1 million, or $1.05 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.03 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.5% to $2.00 billion. This was up from $1.86 billion last year.
