Wesco Appoints David Castagnola CEO

(RTTNews) - Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc (WAIR), a provider of supply chain management services to the aerospace industry, on Monday said it has appointed David Castagnola as president and chief executive officer, effective May 4.

Castagnola would succeed Hal Weinstein, who has served as interim CEO since December 2014 and who will retire after a transition period, the company said.

The company also appointed Castagnola to the board as a Class I director, with an initial term expiring at the 2018 annual meeting of stockholders.

Castagnola brings more than three decades of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Currently, Castagnola is president, Landing Systems at UTC Aerospace Systems, a division of United Technologies Corp.
