Wells Fargo Analyst Joins Cadence as Corporate Vice President of Inves

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2005--Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CDN)(Nasdaq:CDN) today announced that Jennifer Jordan has joined Cadence as corporate vice president of Investor Relations. Jordan will report to Bill Porter, senior vice president and chief financial officer, and will work with President and CEO Mike Fister and the rest of Cadence's senior management team to further the company's investor relations program and assist with strategic issues. Jordan joins Cadence after nine years with Wells Fargo Securities, where she was a senior vice president and senior equity research analyst covering technical and entertainment software.
"Jennifer is a well-respected analyst, known for her straightforward approach with investors," said Porter. "Jennifer will strengthen both our investor relations program and management team. I am pleased to welcome her aboard."
