WebMD Health Revises Q4, FY13 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - WebMD Health Corp. (WBMD), Monday detailed an outlook for the first quarter and full year 2014, and also revised its guidance for the fourth quarter and full year 2013.

The company now expects third-quarter net income of about $10.0 million to $10.8 million, or $0.23 to $0.25 per share. WebMD now expects revenues of about $145.5 million to $146.5 million.

Earlier, the company expected net income to be in excess of $7.7 million and revenues in excess of $141 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters currently estimate earnings of $0.17 and revenues of $144.02 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

For the full year, the company now sees net income of approximately $14.3 million to $15.1 million, or $0.30 to $0.31 per share and revenues of approximately $514.5 million to $515.5 million.

Earlier, the company expected net income to be in excess of $12 million and revenues of $510 million.

Analysts expect earnings of $0.25 per share on revenues of $513.53 million for the year.

For the first quarter, the company expects revenues of about $130 million to $133 million and net income as a percentage of revenues to be about 3 to 4 percent.

Analysts currently see earnings of $0.09 per share on revenues of $122.50 million for the first quarter.

For the full year 2014, the company expects revenues to be about $545 million to $575 million and net income to be approximately $27 million to $39 million.

Analysts currently see earnings of $0.59 per share on revenues of $564.05 million for the year.

WebMD also announced an increase of $50 million in the amount available under its existing stock repurchase program. This increases the amount currently available for repurchases to approximately $70 million.
