WD-40 Results Miss Estimates; Cuts FY Guidance

(RTTNews) - Homecare and cleaning products maker WD-40 Co (WDFC) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $11 million or $0.75 per share compared with $10.4 million or $0.69 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $92.5 million compared with $95.7 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.76 per share on revenues of $99.4 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the full year 2015, the company now expects earnings of $3.03 to $3.09 per share on revenues of $383 million to $390 million. Earlier it expected earnings of $3.07 to $3.13 per share on revenues of $387 million to $400 million.

Analysts expect earnings of $3.11 per share on revenues of $394.6 million for 2015.
