WCI Communities Posts Q3 Loss On Charges - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - WCI Communities, Inc. (WCIC), a lifestyle community developer and luxury homebuilder, reported a third-quarter net loss to shareholders of $17.02 million or $0.71 per share, compared to profit of $56.02 million or $3.12 per share, last year.

The company's loss for the quarter included a $19.0 million, or $0.79 per share charge related to a non-cash preferred stock dividend and a $5.1 million, or $0.21 per share early repayment of debt charge related to the repayment of $125.0 million of senior secured term notes due 2017.

Total revenues rose to $85.52 million, from $54.16 million, prior year. Revenues from homes delivered for the third quarter of 2013 were $60.5 million, up 84.0% from the prior year.
