Vulcan Materials Co. Announces 13% Rise In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Vulcan Materials Co. (VMC) revealed a profit for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $139.77 million, or $1.04 per share. This was higher than $123.81 million, or $0.91 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 2.9% to $1.01 billion. This was down from $1.04 billion last year.
