Vishay: Growth To Be Led By Connectivity, Mobility, And Sustainability Markets

(RTTNews) - Discrete semiconductor company Vishay Intertechnology Inc (VSH) said Tuesday it is pursuing a strategy to be ahead of the market, and that it strives to raise annual revenue by 6% to 8% through increased internal growth and targeted acquisitions.

Vishay said it identifies the connectivity (networking, the Internet of Things), mobility, and sustainability markets as growth drivers during the coming years, and that it will meet market demand with numerous new developments in key technologies, including the following:

- new generations of MOSFETs for all voltage ranges: TrenchFET Gen IV, TrenchFET Gen III p-channel, 600 V and 650 V high-performance Super Junction MOSFETs, such as SQJQ402E in the PowerPAK 8x8, and SiHx28N60EF and SiHx33N60EF 600 V with enhanced fast body diodes

- FRED Pt Gen 4 -- New Ultrafast rectifiers with high dielectric strength that are suitable as anti-parallel diodes for the new 600 V and 650 V IGBT series.

- special power inductors: Next-generation coupled, paired, and shielded high-current inductors -- IHLE-4040DC-5A

- water-cooled power resistors with up to 25 kW rated power, and steel plate and grid resistors with a rated power of more than 1.5 kW without forced cooling

- high-strength and high-temperature-resistant SMD power resistors for use as precision current sensors, battery and meter shunts.
