Video Business Unveils Redesign and Expands Editorial Coverage
Video Business (www.VideoBusiness.com), a Variety Group publication (www.Variety.com) dedicated to providing home entertainment business news, announces the redesign of its print product, expanded editorial coverage and a new daily electronic newsletter.
On May 4, the weekly trade magazine will unveil a polished redesign, including a dynamic new logo that visually reinforce the brand’s commitment to reporting on all types of video. The logo will be accompanied by a new tagline: "Covering Video Entertainment: Physical, Digital and Mobile.”
The logo and tagline illustrate the fact that Video Business’s editorial content will expand to include a greater emphasis on digital and mobile formats, as well as new technologies going forward.
"Video Business is once again evolving with the home entertainment industry. Consumers now have so many choices beyond packaged media for entertainment at home and on-the-go, including VOD, Internet streaming, downloads and mobile applications. It’s an exciting time, with a lot of new products and technologies being launched, but as of yet few clear-cut successes beyond the traditional formats. I see VB as having a fantastic opportunity to increase our relevance as a provider of news, analysis and market research that executives at studios, retailers and technology companies must have to navigate this new and changing landscape,” says Marcy Magiera, editor-in-chief and associate publisher of Video Business.
Linda Buckley Bruno, Publishing Director of Variety and Video Business, adds, "It’s more important than ever for companies to position their product in a vehicle that reaches diverse segments of the industry. That’s why VB is such a smart and comprehensive marketing solution. Advertisers can reach all segments of the entertainment industry, from retailers to content owners, through our print, online and customized opportunities like webinars.”
Video Business is also introducing a new daily e-newsletter that provides subscribers with breaking news and other timely articles. In addition to the daily e-newsletter, users can sign up to receive a weekly e-newsletter that is sent out every Friday with a review of the week’s top news. All Video Business e-newlsetters are free and sign-ups are available on VideoBusiness.com.
Video Business is a weekly print magazine but also available in a free digital format emailed to subscribers every Monday. The Video Business Digital Edition allows users to turn pages, conduct keyword searches, view past issues dating back to 2004, and listen to articles via the article narration tool. Digital Edition sign ups are available on VideoBusiness.com/digitaledition.
For nearly 30 years, Video Business has been at the forefront of the home entertainment industry, reporting the news with integrity and a keen understanding of what is important to content owners and retailers alike. Video Business is a Variety Group Publication owned by Reed Business Information, the largest business-to-business publisher in the U.S. and part of Reed Elsevier Group plc (NYSE:RUK) (NYSE:ENL).
