Versar Inc. Wins Two Cultural Resource Contracts

Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced today that it has been awarded two new Cultural Resources contracts. The first is a $500,000, 3-year contract from the Delaware Department of Transportation and the second is as a subcontractor to The Ottery Group based in Olney, Maryland for a $2,000,000, 5-year contract with the Maryland State Highway Administration. The contracts are to perform cultural resources investigations in support of transportation projects throughout Delaware and Maryland respectively, in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act. Under these contracts, Versar’s archaeologists and architectural historians will investigate the potential impact from planned highway infrastructure projects to properties eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
