Verint Systems Q2 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(VRNT) reported that its second-quarter net income attributable to common shares increased to $17.54 million or $0.33 per share, from $8.74 million or $0.22 per share, last year. Adjusted net income attributable to Verint Systems was $37.36 million or $0.70 per share, for the quarter.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.52 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenue rose to $222.45 million, from $212.43 million prior year. Adjusted total revenue was $222.78 million for the quarter. Analysts expected revenue of $216.37 million for the quarter.
