Ventas Inc. Announces 0% Fall In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Ventas Inc. (VTR) reported earnings for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $363.84 million, or $1.03 per share. This was down from $365.47 million, or $1.09 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.01 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.8% to $867.12 million. This was up from $827.61 million last year.
