USANA Health Sciences Bottom Line Climbs 13% In Q1
(RTTNews) - USANA Health Sciences (USNA) announced a profit for its first quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line advanced to $22.30 million, or $1.77 per share. This was higher than $19.68 million, or $1.50 per share, in last year's first quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.81 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 9.6% to $240.45 million. This was up from $219.38 million last year.
