Universal Health Services Q3 Profit Meets Estimate

(RTTNews) - Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) reported net income for the third quarter of $82.8 million or $.82 per share, compared to $114.6 million or $1.15 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the third quarter was $137.5 million or $1.36 per share, compared to $109.5 million or $1.10 per share in the prior year quarter..

Net revenues for the third quarter increased 11.1% to $2.02 billion from $1.82 billion a year ago.
