United Microelectronics Oct. Revenues Up 4.13% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - United Microelectronics Corp.(UMC), a semiconductor foundry, Friday reported October revenues of NT$10.46 billion, a 4.13 percent increase from prior year's NT$10.05 billion. Net sales for the period January to October rose 6.90 percent to NT$103.56 billion, from NT$96.87 billion a year ago.

United Microelectronics provides advanced technology and manufacturing for applications spanning every major sector of the IC industry. The company employs over 15,000 people worldwide and has offices in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Europe, and the United States.
