Under Armour Drops Wife Of Hunter Who Speared Bear

(RTTNews) - Athletic clothing company Under Armour has ended sponsorship of a female hunter after a video that showed her husband killing a bear caused an outrage.

Sponsorship of Sarah Bowmar, the wife and hunting companion of US hunter Josh Bowmar, was dropped by Under Armor following the negative response to the video that showed Bowmar killing a bear with a spear in the woods of Alberta, Canada. The video was filmed by Sarah.

Several people showed their disapproval of the video by posting their views against the killing, some even called it "an inhumane way" to kill a bear. Several customers even threatened to stop buying Under Armour's products, which led the company to take action.

Canadian government has announced that it will outlaw spear hunting. The officials are also considering to file charges against Bowmar.
