UL Solutions Q1 Net Income Rises

(RTTNews) - UL Solutions Inc. (ULS) reported first quarter net income of $60 million compared to $58 million, a year ago, an increase of 3.4%. Earnings per share was $0.28, flat with last year. Adjusted net income was $61 million compared to $54 million, up 13.0%. Adjusted earnings per share was $0.28 compared to $0.26. On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.28, for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue was $670 million compared to $629 million, last year, an increase of 6.5%. Organic growth was 7.5% across all segments, led by Industrial. Analysts on average had estimated $667.61 million in revenue.
