Enhanced Digital Content Provides Advertisers With Exciting New Environment To Reach Their Audience

    TVGuide.com, a leading online destination for television and entertainment news and information, announced today that it has rolled out two new broadband initiatives, TV Guide Spot, a new on-demand video network designed to entertain consumers while helping them navigate their ever-expanding programming choices, and Big Network Boss, a unique interactive multiplayer TV trivia game.

    TV Guide Spot launches this week on TVGuide.com for broadband users. Located on the TVGuide.com homepage, the service will feature short-form, originally-produced entertainment programs that guide consumers to the most compelling fare on TV each week. TV GUIDE SPOT takes a fast-paced, snappy approach to programming that gives viewers a quick lowdown on "can't miss" TV shows of the week; "catch up" segments on a show's season-to-date; best new on-demand movies airing that month; and tune-in information about where today's hottest bands are appearing on TV in the week ahead.
    TV GUIDE SPOT has a dozen short-form programming concepts in development. The network will launch initially with four shows:

-- Watch This! looks at the most compelling programs in the week to come including special episodes, premieres, television events, and hidden gems TV GUIDE SPOT editors will mine just for the on-demand audience.

-- Catch Up is a series of updates on television's top water-cooler shows. Too busy to watch every episode? Missed the first three episodes of Survivor or 24? Catch up in three minutes, and you're all set to watch.

-- Big Movie Guide highlights the best of cable's on-demand movies with star interviews, movie clips, behind-the-scenes stories and red carpet events.

-- MVids showcases leading music acts and guides viewers to special appearances of the bands on talk and variety shows each week -- from Good Morning America and Today to Jay, David and Conan.

    In addition to launching on TVGuide.com, TV GUIDE SPOT will also soon debut to more than 14 million Comcast and Time Warner digital subscribers to one million TiVo subscribers with stand-alone set-top boxes.
    BIG NETWORK BOSS is a unique online trivia game, which allows TV aficionados to compete in real-time against other television fans. Players must answer questions about current and classic TV shows over five different rounds of play. After each game, players will be told how they ranked against their fellow players. The object is for players to prove that they are worthy of being in charge of a TV network by scoring enough points to rise to the level of Big Network Boss (there can be only one).
