Tutor Perini Q3 Profit Down

(RTTNews) - Tutor Perini Corp. (TPC) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $23.8 million or $0.49 per share, compared to $42.6 million or $0.88 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $1.03 billion compared to $1.10 billion last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $0.55 per share on revenues of $1.23 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company reaffirmed its fiscal 2013 guidance for revenues of $4.5 billion to $5.0 billion and earnings of $1.65 to $1.90 per share. Analysts estimated revenues of $4.56 billion on revenues of $1.80 per share.
