TrueDemand Adds to its Seasoned Executive Management Team and Advisory Board with Supply Chain Heavyweights

LOS GATOS, Calif., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- TrueDemand Software, Inc., a pioneer in the development of RFID-enabled enterprise applications, today announced four additions to its seasoned executive management team along with a new member of its Advisory Board. Suresh Kuppahally is appointed as vice president of engineering, Calvin Lee as vice president of science and customer innovation, Karthik Mani as vice president of product development and Alain Poirier as the vice president of sales. John Raudabaugh joins TrueDemand's Advisory Board, which is designed to provide expert guidance to the company as it continues to execute against its strategy to deliver a suite of supply chain replenishment applications for manufacturers and retailers. Lee, Mani, Kuppahally and Poirier come from executive positions at leading supply chain suppliers while Raudabaugh brings a strong food and drug retail background.

Following is background on the new executives:

Kuppahally, named TrueDemand's vice president of engineering, comes from I2 Technologies Inc., , where he was vice president of global product development for the SRM business unit. At I2, he led the efforts to integrate SRM products coming from multiple acquisitions onto a common technology platform and spearheaded the delivery of several new software products. He brings 17 years of experience in infrastructure and enterprise software product development.

Lee comes to TrueDemand from Evant, Inc., which was recently acquired by Manhattan Associates, Inc., where he was vice president and chief scientist. Lee joins TrueDemand as vice president of science and customer innovation, and will lead the company's science and customer innovation efforts. While at Evant, he directed all scientific research and development in support of its supply chain optimization product offerings.

Mani, formerly vice president, solutions operations at I2 Technologies, has been named TrueDemand's vice president of product development. In his role at I2, Mani was responsible for defining the strategic direction of the company's core products in the areas of demand, supply chain and factory planning solutions. While at I2 he also served in product marketing, product management and implementation services roles.

Poirier has been named vice president of sales for TrueDemand. He joins the company after seven years at Manhattan Associates, where he served as vice president of sales, retail and Latin America. He has an extensive background in supply chain management software that includes project management, client management and business development experience in the retail industry. With a proven track record in building successful sales organizations, Poirier is responsible for TrueDemand's overall sales strategy and client relations.

Raudabaugh joins TrueDemand's Advisory board, which already includes well- known supply chain and RFID experts from industry, consulting and academia. Raudabaugh was the vice president of systems implementation at Albertsons, Inc. , the second largest food and drug retailer in the United States. Raudabaugh has over 30 years of supply chain experience, and most recently led Albertson's unique RFID implementation, which involved collaboration with more than 70 suppliers to deploy an incremental RFID roll- out. During his career he has implemented various types of technology and automation to improve the supply chain and work processes across the supply chain.
