Triumph Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Triumph Group Inc (TGI), a maker of aero structures and aircraft components, on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $82.8 million or $1.66 per share compared with $42.3 million or $0.80 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $1.71 per share compared with $1.39 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were up 15% at $1.08 billion compared with $936.4 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $1.66 per share on revenues of $1.04 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
